意思是「想办法解决」。库尔特和布伦达说 We'll figure it out，就是「我们会想到办法的」，用来给对方安心。
It doesn't have to define you。布伦达的意思是：一场比赛、一份工作都不该决定你是谁。define 就是「定义、决定性质」。
