The story so far
Everything you need before watchingThe party is still roaring when Tom starts hunting for Daisy downstairs. Upstairs she tells Gatsby she wants to run away; he refuses—that would not be respectable—and says it is time to tell Tom. A phone call finds Nick: they are having a row, supposedly about the future.
