The story so far
Everything you need before watchingOn a boiling afternoon at the Buchanan house, Gatsby points across the bay and admits he can see a light blinking at the end of Daisy's dock every night. Daisy is restless in the heat and wants to go to town. Then Gatsby tells her she always looks so cool, like the man in a Times Square advertisement. Tom hears it. He mocks Gatsby's car as a circus wagon, then needles him: nowadays you can buy anything at a drugstore.
