葬礼后，马丁斯敲开安娜的门，直问她对哈里的感情：in love with（爱着某人）？安娜却说自己什么都不知道了 any more（不再知道任何事），甚至想跟着去死。等聊到出事那天在场的怪事，她那句 what difference does it make（有什么区别），把追问堵了回去。想学含蓄又扎心的英式对白，这几句够狠。

下一章 · 06up to no good没安好心这场戏：追问出神秘的第三人指爱着某人、对某人有男女之情。原句 You were in love with him 就是「你爱过他」，问得直接，也很扎心。
说 what difference does it make，常用来表示某件事已经不重要了。原句后面还补一句 He's dead, isn't he，语气又冷又绝望。
指死因调查、验尸审讯，由官方查明死因。原句 were you at the inquest 就是问对方有没有参加验尸。
说 knock someone over，多指车把人撞倒。原句说他自己的司机把他撞倒，正是把可疑之处一条条抖出来。
指「很痛苦、疼得厉害」，常见于 not in much pain 这种否定。原句说他没有受多少罪，是拿医生的话来安慰自己。
