全是規程，沒有安撫。做對也被算成不獎，冷處理比責罵更絕。

開頭也許是玩，也許是挫敗，但明顯升級成了非常暴力的行為。
may 留下起點的不確定，clearly 立刻把結尾定成暴力。

My interpretation is that he didn't hear the whistle. So not only did he not hear the bridge, then he went and did a perfect behavior and came back, and what he got was what we call a three-second neutral response, which is just a way to let the animal know, "No, you didn't do the correct thing. You're not going to get rewarded. And then we're going to move on."
我的理解是，他沒聽見哨聲。 所以他不但沒聽見橋接訊號，還完美地做完動作，遊了回來， 得到的卻是我們說的“三秒中性反應”，就是讓動物知道：“不，你沒做對。 你得不到獎勵。然後我們接著往下進行。”
訓練做到某個時候，有人說 things went south。went south 在這裡是局勢開始變糟，不是往南走。講計劃、演出、會議突然砸了，都可以用。
不獎不罰的冷處理，英語是 neutral response。鯨把繞池揮鰭做完了，人仍給三秒冷處理，等於通知它這下不算對、沒有獎，會話就往下進行。動作達標和口哨沒接住，是兩件事。
動物做對時吹一聲短哨，告訴它可以回來領吃的，這聲哨就叫 whistle bridge（做對了的口哨標記）。繞池揮鰭那聲哨他沒接住。這是訓練員的術語，不是拿去對同事說這下對了。
配得上自己的名字，英語說 lived up to its name。新聞裡六噸虎鯨殺死訓練師，被說成配得上這個名字。人或東西終於做出跟名字一樣的事，就用這句。
有人對比影片開頭和結尾，說他結尾已經不那麼 on his game，是沒完全在平時的狀態上，不是很差。on his game 是發揮穩定、在狀態上。開頭還按要求做，後來魚快沒了，只是沒那麼穩。說選手沒完全在狀態，用 not quite on his game。
同一句裡，開頭也許是玩或挫敗，升級之後那陣很暴力的行為則是 anything but play。anything but 是恰恰不是，正好相反，說的是後來那陣行為，不是把開頭的也許收回。想說根本不是，可以用這句。
