Jafar Wishes to Be the Most Powerful, Explained:mark my words
Jafar has the lamp and thinks he's untouchable, so Aladdin reminds him where the power came from: the Genie can give it and take it away. Jafar answers by wishing to be the most powerful being alive — and gets exactly what he asked for, in the worst possible way.
あらすじ
With the lamp in hand, Jafar boasts that he is the greatest sorcerer alive and can destroy anything. Aladdin warns him that the Genie's power can be withdrawn, so Jafar uses his final wish to become the most powerful being in the universe. The wish is granted literally: he becomes a genie, and a genie without a master belongs in a lamp.

What's really going on
The scene is a lesson in reading the fine print. Jafar believes power is something you hold, and Aladdin's point is that it's something you're given: "Genie gave you your power, and he can take it away." Jafar's answer is to wish for more — the most powerful being in the universe — which is exactly the kind of vague wish that rebounds. The Genie even flags it: "A lot of gray area in that wish." What makes the ending satisfying is its logic rather than its magic: the man who could never stand being second becomes the servant of whoever holds the lamp. His last words, "Mark my words," are a threat the scene has already made pointless.

このシーンについての質問
How does Jafar get trapped in a lamp?
He wishes to become the most powerful being in the universe. The Genie grants it literally: the most powerful being is a genie, and a genie with no master returns to a lamp.
Why does Aladdin keep saying Jafar will always be second?
Because someone or something is always more powerful. Even with the lamp, Jafar answers to the Genie, so he can never truly be first.
What does "mark my words" mean?
It means "remember what I'm telling you." Jafar uses it as a parting threat, insisting he'll get revenge.
Why does the Genie call the wish a gray area?
Because "the most powerful being in the universe" is vague — powerful can mean many things, and the Genie picks the reading that ruins Jafar.
