客舱里没人能刷手机，消息全靠口口相传：有人从妻子的电话里听到 Two planes hit the World Trade Center（两架飞机撞了世贸中心），一路往后传；有人不敢信，说 It doesn't make sense（这说不通）。想学怎么复述消息、怎么表达难以置信，这段全是真实口语。

客舱里没有实时新闻，消息只能靠乘客和乘务员一个传一个：有人从妻子的电话里听说 Two planes hit the World Trade Center（两架飞机撞了世贸中心），被要求 Tell the stewardesses（告诉乘务员），于是往后排一个个转达。有人觉得 It doesn't make sense（这说不通），追问 Where are you guys hearing this（你们从哪儿听来的）；也有人反复说 Airplanes, one after the other（飞机一架接一架）。随后五角大楼爆炸的消息也传进客舱，恐慌升级，大家开始问 Are we one of them, or are we the sixth（我们是其中一架，还是第六架）。想学转述、确认、追问和表达怀疑的口语，这段几乎是逐句素材。
A1–C2 是欧标等级。点一个等级后，比它高的卡片会变淡，播放到那里不会自动暂停。

转述亲近的人带来的消息时用；正式场合用 according to 代替口语的 says。

My wife says that 弱读，there was an 连读，explosion 重读。
My wife says the store is closed on Mondays. 我妻子说那家店周一不营业。
“It doesn't make sense. Are you sure you heard that right?”
这说不通啊。你确定没听错？
先质疑事情本身，再质疑对方耳朵，两句把混乱里的不信任全说透。
Are you sure you heard that right?
听到离谱消息、想确认对方没听错时用；对长辈这样说会显得不客气。
Did you hear that correctly? ／ Are you sure that's what they said?
口语
doesn't make sense 连读，Are you sure 降调，heard that right 句尾上扬。
Are you sure you heard that right? It sounds wrong. 你确定没听错？听着不对劲。
“It's two airplanes. It's not a bomb.”
是两架飞机。不是炸弹。
两个短句把传言掰正，越简单的否定越像在安抚慌乱的客舱。
It's X. It's not Y.
要当众纠正一个传错的说法时用；语速放慢，别带着情绪。
They were planes, not a bomb. ／ No bomb, just aircraft.
中性
It's two 连读，airplanes 重读，not a bomb 放慢。
It's a drill. It's not a real alarm. 这是演练。不是真的警报。
“Airplanes, one after the other, hit the World Trade Center.”
飞机一架接一架撞上了世贸中心。
插入 one after the other 把两次撞击的时间差说清，画面像在慢放。
X, one after the other, did Y.
要强调接连发生、一波接一波时用；插在句中让节奏更重。

Are we 连读，one of them 弱读，the sixth 重读上扬。

重复并纠正用词，Not a fire, an explosion 把措辞的分量看得比命还重。

要纠正别人把严重的事说轻时用；重复关键词能加重分量。

正式
An explosion 重读，Not a fire 降调，a second explosion 放慢收尾。
It's not a delay, a cancellation. 不是延误，是取消。
下一章 · 16suicide mission自杀式行动这场戏：乘客决定反击劫机者意思是「说得通、有道理」。台词说 It doesn't make sense，加 not 就是「这说不通、不合常理」。听来的消息让谁都觉得离谱时，用这句最自然。
one after the other。台词 Airplanes, one after the other, hit the World Trade Center，就是「飞机一架接一架撞上世贸中心」。形容事情接连发生也能用。
call back。台词说 I will call you back, I promise，就是「我回头再打给你，我保证」。注意宾语放中间，说成 call you back，别说 call back you。
prop 是 propeller（螺旋桨）的缩写，prop planes 就是螺旋桨飞机。听到「飞机撞大楼」，有人以为是这种小飞机，才追问 Do they mean prop planes。
指「新闻上播了、新闻里有报道」。台词 It's on the news 就是「新闻上播了」。转述消息来源时，on the news、on TV 都很常用。
