hard questioning。剧里说 force me to hard questioning，就是「逼我严加审问」，比 ask questions 更重，暗示要用强硬手段。
「布娃娃」，在萨勒姆的巫术案里是关键物证。剧里说 A poppet were discovered，就是「发现了一个布娃娃」，被当成施法的道具。
contemplation of murder，contemplation 是「盘算、蓄意」。剧里 He charges contemplation of murder 就是「他指控的是意图谋杀」，这是普罗克特反咬阿比盖尔的关键罪名。
