bail 是保释金，put ... up 指拿东西抵押凑钱。片里说她妈把房子 put up for my bail，就是「拿房子做抵押，把我保出来」，等于一家人的房产都押上了。
不是「弄直」，而是「把乱账、乱事理顺、摆平」。I got to straighten out everything with Paulie 就是「我得跟保利把一切摆平」，不然命都保不住。
collar 在俚语里指「逮捕」，took a collar 就是「被抓过、进过局子」。审问的人问他上回被抓是什么时候，用的就是这个说法。
get the lawyer，口语里也可以说 get me a lawyer 或 I want my lawyer。被捕时这几句几乎是标准台词，态度越简短越显得不好对付。
