开车去双城的路上，副驾一声不吭，司机憋不住了：Would it kill you to say something?（你说句话会死啊？）赌气回敬一句 Two could play at that game（这招我也会），车里彻底安静。另一边，杰里在电话里对通用汽车金融的追问一味搪塞。想学赌气、摆烂又不失礼貌的英语，这几句最好用。

可以说 Would it kill you to say something? Would it kill you 就是「做某事会死啊」，用来抱怨对方连一点小事都不肯做。
是挖苦。字面是「话的喷泉」，实际形容对方话多得不得了，这里卡尔是反着用，讽刺盖尔一路上几乎一声不吭。
可以说 call back money。赖利告诉杰里，申请单上的车架号对不上，他只能把钱收回来，这里指贷款方撤资、追回已放出的钱。
send something over 多了 over，强调「送过去、送过来」，是口语里更自然的说法。杰里答应让手下把文件复印件给他送过去。
