州警遇害的车旁，办案的人蹲下来看雪地：There's different footprints here（这儿的脚印不一样），又从罚单本上拼出车牌线索。另一边，绑匪放话不准报警，有人撂下一句 all's I know is（我只知道）——出了问题，就该找专业的人。查线索、讲条件，这两句都用得上。

州警遇害的车停在雪地里。玛吉和卢蹲在车旁，先看到两串不一样的脚印：There's different footprints here（这儿的脚印不一样），死者身边的罚单本上，车牌号那一栏只写了「DLR」。顺着这点，玛吉推断凶手开的车挂的是 dealer plates（经销商牌照），全州开始找一辆车牌以 DLR 开头的西拉。另一边，绑匪放话：敢报警就开枪。家里为要不要找警察吵起来，有人主张 call a professional（找专业的人），有人提醒 they were darn clear on that（他们把话撂得很明白）。查案、转述威胁、拒绝报警，三句表达正好各用得上。
A1–C2 是欧标等级。点一个等级后，比它高的卡片会变淡，播放到那里不会自动暂停。

dealer plates。指车行给自家待售车挂的牌照，不用登记到私人名下；玛吉就是靠它判断那辆车来自车行。
