back from the dead。字面是「从死人堆里回来」，常拿来夸张地形容久别重逢。戏里有人一进门就用它打趣，等于说「你可算活过来了」。
「对……是负担」。台词里 They're a burden to the advancement of the white race，就是「他们是白人种族进步的负担」，把某个群体说成拖累。
后面常接 for something 或 for doing something，表示「有心情做某事」，比如 I'm not in the mood for jokes。否定式 I'm not in the mood 就是「没心情」。
字面是「不漏水的」，引申为「密不透风、无懈可击」，常形容计划、说法或证据。戏里拿它开荤玩笑，但日常多用于夸方案周全、挑不出毛病。
