可以說 not leave this office，字面是「不出這間辦公室」。芬奇要求這個問題 will not leave this office，就是要多米尼克嚴格保密，別傳出去。
意思是「……乾的、……的手筆」。芬奇問那場生物襲擊會不會不是 religious extremists（宗教極端分子）乾的，用的就是 was not the work of。
unleash a virus 是「釋放病毒」，unleash 指把某種可怕的、控制不住的東西放出來，災禍、怒火都能用。芬奇問 What if someone else unleashed that virus 就是這個詞。
意思是「一環扣一環的一連串事件」。芬奇說他看著這些巧合串成一條 chain of events，才忍不住要問：萬一事情根本不是這樣呢？
