The Millers Fly to Mexico, Explained:in my sleep
Aboard the plane, the fake family keeps up the act, with Rose overselling the teenage-daughter role and the others trying to stay invisible. David's reminder lands as the theme: "It's about not drawing attention to ourselves."
あらすじ
On the flight to Mexico, the Millers keep pretending to be a real family. David introduces Kenny and Casey by name, while Rose overplays the rebellious teenager in front of a flight attendant. Casey complains that they are drawing too much attention, and the scene ends when they find an absurdly huge RV waiting for them.

What's really going on
The airplane is the first real test of the disguise, and the joke is that everyone is bad at it. Rose, told she only has to seem like a mother, overshoots badly and says things no parent would say, which is funny and also the point: the family is being held together by performance, not truth. David, meanwhile, keeps correcting the tone, with "It's about not drawing attention to ourselves" as his recurring rule. The Fitzgeralds sitting nearby raise the stakes, since the same people the group is impersonating are watching. The scene ends with the RV gag, a reminder that the plan is barely under control.

このシーンについての質問
Why is the family on a plane?
They are traveling to Mexico to pick up the drugs, posing as a family on vacation. The disguise is meant to look ordinary to anyone watching.
Why does Rose oversell the teenager act?
She is nervous and tries too hard, bringing up things no real parent would. The scene plays the mistake for comedy rather than danger.
Why are the Fitzgeralds a problem on the plane?
They are the family the Millers are imitating, and they recognize the group. Having them nearby means every slip could blow the cover.
What does in my sleep mean?
It means something is so easy you could do it while asleep. Rose uses it to brag about handling the role, right before she struggles.
