The story so far
Everything you need before watchingThe hearing reaches the letter. Borden is seated and walked through a clean chain: investigation, conclusions, a letter to Hoover, no talk with the AEC. Then they ask him to read it. Garrison objects—he has never seen this document; it adds accusations missing from the indictment. The chairman says the board has already read it, so it belongs in the record. Borden then reads the line that cannot be unsaid: more probably than not, Oppenheimer is a Soviet agent.
