说 hypocrite，指装样子、口是心非的人。戏里死囚说要是现在才祈祷，自己会 feel like a hypocrite。
指「让心肠变硬、变得无情」。神父劝死囚别让痛苦把心变硬，用的就是别 let it harden your heart。
意思是「住手、别闹了」，语气不客气。戏里有人看不下去，冲醉酒的阿尔诺喊 Cut it out。
指「被执行、照办」。戏里军官说 The sentence will be carried out，意思是判决照样执行，哪怕犯人已经重伤。
