Ralph crashes into Sugar Rush looking for his medal, and the kingdom's ruler is not amused. He dismisses the intruder's claim, insisting "Bad guys don't win medals," while fussing over whether his pink suit is pink or salmon.

What happens

In the Sugar Rush cabinet, Ralph wakes tied up in a candy cane. King Candy confronts him, bristles when his pink suit is called pink, and refuses to believe a villain earned a Hero's Duty medal. Learning a glitch spent it, Candy warns Ralph and has him thrown on the first train home.

What's really going on

The whole encounter is a power move. King Candy controls Sugar Rush, and he turns a simple request into a lesson about who is allowed to belong. His line, "Bad guys don't win medals," is not about rules but about status: villains stay villains here. Ralph answers by invoking a misunderstanding and his earned medal, but Candy keeps steering the talk toward turbo, game-jumping, and takeover, as if any outsider must be a threat. The invented word fungeon does the rest, dressing up a threat as wordplay. By the end, the ruler has refused help and written the visitor a warning he does not intend to deliver gently.
