用 stay on the bomb run，bomb run 指轰炸机飞向目标的投弹航程。机长让机组 stay on the bomb run，就是叫他们别偏航，继续飞向目标。
manual override 指「手动越控」，也就是绕过自动系统、改用人工操作。电路修不好时，机长下令 manual override，就是让人手动去处理。
这是一句美国土话，字面和「熊溪的人」有关，实际是赌咒发誓，意思是「不管发生什么、就算拼上老命也要做到」。机长用它表示非把弹舱门弄开不可。
这里既是称呼也是名字。ace 本指「王牌、好手」，也常拿来称呼飞行高手；戏里机组被叫 ace，正好对应译名表里的艾斯。
