比利让莱拉开那辆手动挡的车，自己却怎么都挂不上挡，还嘴硬说自己 used to（习惯于）开豪车，凯迪拉克才是他的日常。他轻描淡写地来一句 we got a little situation（有点小状况），接着数三下逼她换座位。想学嘴硬、找借口、下指令的说法，这段全是。

比利让莱拉坐进驾驶座，自己却连挡都挂不上——他开手动挡的车完全没辙，嘴上还说自己 used to（习惯于）开豪车，动不动就提凯迪拉克埃尔多拉多，说那些车会自己换挡。他给这场面起了个轻描淡写的名字，we got a little situation（有点小状况），然后数到三，逼莱拉下车绕到他那边。车开起来后，他要她 pull over（靠边停车），把车挂上停车挡，再把手平放在仪表台上，威胁她不许动。想学嘴硬、找借口、在车上指挥别人的句子，这一场很好用。

used to 轻读，luxury 重读第一个音节，反问句尾上扬。

把自己当发令官，连换座都要按数拍子，控制欲写满一句。

When I say 连读，three 后停顿，You got me 收得干脆。

下一章 · 04right off the bat一上来这场戏：假扮妻子回家见父母字面是「有点小状况」，其实常用来轻描淡写一个不小的麻烦。比利挂不上挡，就说 we got a little situation，语气越轻越显得他在硬撑。
pull over，比如 I want you to pull over right there，就是要你就在那儿靠边停。也可以说 pull over here。
be used to 是「习惯于」，比如 I'm used to luxury cars 就是我开惯豪车了；used to do 则是「过去常常」，两者后面接的词不一样。
就是手动挡的车，要自己拨挡把换挡。比利说自己开不了这种车，只会开自动换挡的豪车。
就是把车挂到停车挡（P 挡）。比利让莱拉 Put the car in park，就是让她停稳、挂好挡再下车。
他要下车一分钟，怕她偷偷开车跑掉，就命令她把手放好、一动不许动，还威胁她敢动就掐死她。这是控制欲的写法。
