What's really going on

The office half is a portrait of a man who owns everything and answers to nothing. A lawsuit is brushed aside with "Millie, Millie Rusk? No sweat.", and when a developer points out that he promised fans the same characters, he answers with a shrug: "here's the thing. When I said that, I was lying." Truth, to him, is just another product to be packaged. The street half answers it with its opposite. A player who cannot explain how he levels up so fast meets a woman who cannot stop asking, and they trade guarded half-answers — "We all have our secrets, I guess." What he does not hide is the quiet place he shares with Buddy, a genuine act of trust that the boardroom would never offer anyone.
