Guy Sees the Hidden Build, Explained: in plain sight
With the glasses on, Guy sees what the game has hidden: the original build, still reflecting past the horizon. "It's still out there," Millie tells him. Then he turns that discovery on the city's NPCs, asking why they should stay in the background while there's always a guy with a gun.
What happens
Millie forces a pair of glasses onto Guy, and through them he sees the original build Antwan hid past the horizon, visible only in the reflections. In the real world, Millie and Keys find the same thing and start planning a way past the game's invisible wall. Then Guy gathers the city's NPCs and asks whether they are tired of living in the background.

What's really going on
The scene is where the film's two stories finally touch.
