at one's wits' end。老师说 the teachers are at their wits' end，意思是老师们已经束手无策、一点办法都没有。常用复数 wits'，书面口语都行。
意思是「班上的活宝、爱搞笑的人」。老师骂布拉德 I know you think you're the class clown，就是「我知道你觉得自己是班上的活宝」，语气里全是不满。
lose it。旁白说 I couldn't really blame Dad for losing it，就是「我也不能怪爸爸发火」。口语里 lose it 多指一下子控制不住脾气。
the last chance。剧里说 this might be the last chance，就是「这也许是最后的机会」，后面还强调 the very last chance，加 very 语气更重。
