下一章 · 06it's benign是良性的这场戏：胸口疼去诊所虚惊一场字面是「你余下的整个人生」。前妻用它放狠话：我这辈子都不想再让儿子见你。比 never again 更具体、更绝。
用 trade，最自然的就是 I want to trade one visitation day with him，就是「我想跟他换一天探视」。trade 后面直接跟要交换的东西。
本来是「天作之合」的好话，指两人绝配。但在这部片里是反讽：心理医生爱上病人，还美其名曰天作之合，听着就荒诞。
put it down to 是「把某事归因于」，语气中性，常是替对方找解释，比如把那当成移情。blame 则是带责备的归咎，情绪重得多。
let oneself in for 指「给自己招来」麻烦或糟糕的事。金句里说没人能说我不知道自己招来的是什么，就是明知有坑还往里跳。
