The story so far
Everything you need before watchingRoz is still the island's "monster" when a family of opossums plays dead in front of her. Pinktail, a weary mother of many, notices the gosling glued to the robot's side and explains the rule: goslings imprint on the first thing they see. Roz insists she has no programming to be a mother. Pinktail's answer is blunt: nobody does; parents just make it up. Then she names the new task: eat, swim, and fly by fall, or the chick will not survive winter.
