射击靶场上，汉森突然举枪指着奥尼尔，只问一句 Can I trust you?（我能信你吗？）。奥尼尔没躲，回他 It's just us out here（这儿就我们俩），又补一句 You don't matter that much（你没那么重要）。被上司当众怀疑、逼你表态时，这套不慌不忙的回答最值钱。

FBI 靶场上，汉森把枪口转向身边的奥尼尔，追问他在车里接的是谁的电话，逼他回答 Can I trust you?（我能信你吗？）。奥尼尔先叫他把枪放下，再一句 It's just us out here（这儿就我们俩）稳住场面，接着点明没人 tailing（跟踪）他。等汉森松了劲，奥尼尔的回击更狠：You don't matter that much（你没那么重要），还说汉森成天 grind（把……往死里逼）所有人。最后他用一句 at the end of the day（说到底）收尾，说原因根本不重要。被上司无端怀疑、要当面把话说清楚又不想撕破脸时，这几句都能直接用。
A1–C2 是欧标等级。点一个等级后，比它高的卡片会变淡，播放到那里不会自动暂停。
“I need to know if I can trust you.”
我得知道，我能不能信你。
把最深的怀疑压成一句平静的追问，枪口下才问得出口。
I need to know if I can (do something).
向合作方确认底线时用；对方正在气头上就先别问。
I need to know if I can count on you. ／ I have to know whether I can trust you.
中性
need to 连读，know 重读，trust you 收尾放缓。
I need to know if I can count on you with the keys. 我得知道，钥匙能不能放心交给你。
“It's just us out here.”
这外面就咱们俩。
用最朴素的一句陈述，清空对方满脑子的埋伏和跟踪。
It's just us (somewhere).
安抚多疑的人、强调没有外人时用；语气要放软。
There's nobody else around. ／ It's only the two of us here.
口语
just us 连读，out here 稍拖长。
Relax, it's just us out here tonight. 放松点，今晚这外面就咱们俩。
“At the end of the day, it's all crap.”
说到底，这些全是废话。
先摆出总结的架子，再用 crap 一把掀翻所有借口。
At the end of the day, it's all (noun).
看破一堆借口后下结论时用；正式场合把 crap 换掉。
When all is said and done, it's nonsense. ／ In the end, none of it holds up.
口语
end of the day 连读，crap 加重。
When all is said and done, it's mostly noise. 说到底，这些多半只是噪音。

你就是你。
不解释不辩解，一句同义反复作废对方全部分析。
You are who you are.
劝人别再纠结原因时用；安慰或摊牌都合适。

The why doesn't mean a thing, does it?

字面是「我能信你吗」。片中是汉森举枪时的试探，不是真在征求意见，而是逼对方当场表态；顺着答 yes 反而更危险。
地道说法是 at the end of the day，用在讲完一堆理由后下结论，意思就是「归根结底」。片里奥尼尔最后说 At the end of the day, it's all crap，就是「说到底，全是废话」。口语书面都能用。
字面是「你没那么重要」。片中是奥尼尔为了打消汉森的被害妄想，意思是没人费劲跟踪你。对上司当面说确实重，但用来自嘲或安慰多疑的人反而不算冒犯。
tailing 专指偷偷跟踪、盯梢，带监视意味，多用在侦探、特工场景；follow 只是跟着走，很中性。片里 Nobody's tailing you 就是「没人盯着你」。说自己被人跟踪，用 tail 更准。
先别急着辩解，先承认对方在意的点，再给事实。像片里先让对方把枪放下，再用 It's just us out here（这儿就我们俩）说明没有外人，最后摆出证据。句子短、语气稳，比抢着解释有效。
