breathe it in，就是深吸一口。breathe in 是吸气，breathe it in 则是把眼前的气味、空气吸进去。
die of 多用于疾病、饥寒、绝望这类内部原因，die from 多用于外伤、事故等外部原因，口语里两者也常混用。
向陌生人讨钱时说 spare a coin，比如 Spare a coin, sir?（先生，赏个铜板吧？），也可以说 spare some change。
字面是「小小一趟游览」，可这趟船其实是让议员亲眼见识贩奴船，越轻描淡写，后面的真相越狠。
