说 would you mind if I...，后面接动词原形，是非常礼貌的开口方式。台词里 would you mind if I made an observation，就是「我说句看法，你介意吗」。
她先说他表面强撑，再指出他内心的悲伤和失落只是冰山一角，最后替他说出「愤怒、恐惧、孤独」。沃伦一句 I am kind of lonely 就承认了，等于坐实了她的判断。
