阿伦的手被巨石压住，只能靠手里的 DV 记录自己。一上来他说 This is freaking me out, looking at myself（盯着自己看，真把某人搞得心里发慌）——一个人被困几天后，连自己的样子都变得可怕。他讲早上搭滑轮失败，只轻轻一句 It was worth a try（值得试一试），不让自己陷进去。缺水缺粮，他连尿尿、身体反常都对着镜头讲，还拿昆虫开玩笑说 my insect friends（拿昆虫当饭友调侃），把绝境当段子讲。想学怎么用英语轻描淡写地讲失败、怎么自嘲着给自己打气，这两三句都能直接搬去用。
A1–C2 是欧标等级。点一个等级后，比它高的卡片会变淡，播放到那里不会自动暂停。

总归值得一试。
失败之后的自我宽慰，一句就收住整段懊恼，特别耐听。

worth a try。试了没成功也能说 it was worth a try，意思是总归值得试一把，不后悔。
piss one's pants 字面是尿裤子，口语里也常指笑到失控，比如 I almost pissed my pants（我差点笑到尿裤子）。
字面是「我的昆虫朋友」，是阿伦拿昆虫当饭友的反讽，暗示自己快成虫子的食物了，苦中作乐。
止血带。阿伦说 I found this great tourniquet（我找到一条特别好用的止血带），是他为截肢做准备时说的。
