审讯室里，警探拿着认罪书逼兰德尔签字，他一口回绝，对方就把手枪扔上桌、拔枪指着他的头。他说 He didn't give a damn what I said（他根本不在乎我说什么），又说 I do not like looking down the barrel（被人用枪口对着）。想学怎么拒绝、怎么形容被人拿枪威胁，这些句子全是素材。

Never once 连成一拍重读，was I 弱读。

同样的倒装再来一遍，排比里是越来越冷的绝望。

强调关键时刻无人到场时用；熟人间更常说 nobody was there。
