Capítulo 18 de 22 · 3'14"
The villain turns cruelty into banter: "No one ever told me I was special... I'm not some special little snowflake." He drops the Piece of Resistance into the void, then shrugs it off — "My mistake!" — before releasing the Kragle. "It's just business" is how he explains abandoning his own enforcer.
❝ Monólogo · 9 frases The Most Special Person, Then Nobody
With the heroes cornered, President Business mocks Emmet for being ordinary, drops the Piece of Resistance into the void by "mistake," and orders the Kragle released. He plans to Kragle Emmet's hometown first, then leaves Bad Cop behind to die. Finally he broadcasts a cheerful, fake Taco Tuesday message to the whole city.
The scene is a villain's monologue built on the language of corporate indifference. Business reduces a person to a status — "One minute, you're the most special person in the universe. And the next minute, you're nobody" — and treats the destruction of a city as a scheduling item. The joke of "My mistake!" is that he says it while doing something obviously deliberate, and "It's just business" does the same work for his betrayal of Bad Cop: cruelty dressed as procedure. Even the broadcast is a mask, cheerful music over a monolith blocking out the sun. The film's point is that his power is not strength but the ability to pretend that nothing is personal.

Not so special anymore, huh? Well, guess what. No one ever told me I was special. I never got a trophy just for showing up! I'm not some special little snowflake... no. But as unspecial as I am... you are a thousand-billion times... more unspecial than me.

Business knocks it into the void and pretends it was an accident, joking "My mistake!" With the Piece gone, the plan to stop the Kragle appears to collapse.
Because Bad Cop has outlived his usefulness, and Business says so plainly: "It's just business." The line shows he treats even loyal followers as disposable.
It's propaganda. As a monolith blocks out the sun, Business interrupts with cheerful music and a fake invitation for tacos, trying to keep the city calm while the Kragle goes to work.
That the prophecy was made up and he is not The Special — exactly what the villain wanted him to believe. His certainty had been the team's engine, so this is the low point before the turn.
