President Business Reveals the Kragle, explained

What happens

Inside the Octan tower, President Business takes reports from his staff and robots, approves a Taco Tuesday poster, and shows Bad Cop his collection of relics. He then reveals the Kragle, disguised as TAKOS, and demonstrates it by freezing Bad Cop's parents in place. He orders Bad Cop to finish the job.

What's really going on

The scene turns a boardroom into a horror film. President Business opens with corporate pleasantries — "Coffee sales are through the roof" — and slides without a beat into cruelty, freezing Bad Cop's parents to prove a point. His mantra, "All I'm asking for is total perfection," is the same demand the whole city lives under: nothing may move, change, or be improvised. The parents play along, insisting "We're okay, son. Just a little stuck, is all," which turns their paralysis into the film's joke about compliance. And when Bad Cop finally begins to object, President Business dismisses it as his "Good Cop side" making him soft. Control here is not just physical; it is the demand to feel the right thing.

Key lines & what they mean

“People everywhere are always messing with my stuff.”
President Business names his grievance: other people's freedom reads to him as interference with his possessions.
“All I'm asking for is total perfection.”
His one demand, and the film's warning: perfection means nothing may change or be improvised.
“A way to keep things exactly the way they are supposed to be.”
His description of the Kragle: a tool for freezing the world into his preferred arrangement.
“We're okay, son. Just a little stuck, is all.”
The parents' line undercuts the villainy with politeness, joking away being glued in place because they don't want to make trouble.

Theme

  • Power — President Business controls employees, robots, and even a rival's parents, treating total obedience as the definition of perfection.
  • Absurdity — A corporate meeting becomes a hostage demonstration, and the victims politely insist they are fine being glued in place.

Preguntas frecuentes

La pregunta, luego la frase
What is the Kragle?

The most powerful relic in President Business's collection, and the weapon he plans to use on Taco Tuesday. He renames it TAKOS (Tentacle Arm Kragle Outside Sprayer), with the S silent, so it sprays glue over everyone and everything.

Why does President Business freeze Bad Cop's parents?

To demonstrate the weapon and to test Bad Cop's loyalty. By gluing his parents in place, he forces Bad Cop to choose between obedience and family, turning the demonstration into a threat.

What does total perfection mean to President Business?

A world where nothing moves or changes — everyone fixed exactly where he wants them. It is the villain's philosophy in three words, and the opposite of what Master Builders do.

Does Bad Cop turn against President Business?

He starts to. He hesitates and says he doesn't want to do it, but the pressure increases — and the film follows that crack in his loyalty into the next part of the story.
