“You're a broad-minded guy. People change. You gonna hold her past against her?”
Two questions do the work of a whole argument: you're better than this, and people change.

Capítulo 15 de 15 · 2'28"
Kevin storms in furious that Lenny set him up with a woman who turns out to have done porn. He confronted her, admitted he hit her, and now wants nothing to do with either of them. Lenny argues that people change and he shouldn't hold her past against her, but Kevin walks out. Then Linda appears, bruised.
Kevin Confronts Lenny About Linda
Lenny Defends Linda's Past
Kevin confronts Lenny, angry that he introduced him to Linda without saying she had worked in porn. He says he lost his temper, confronted her, and hit her, and now he is leaving town. Lenny defends Linda, saying she has changed and Kevin should not judge her past. After Kevin storms off, Linda arrives, hurt, and Lenny tends to her.
The scene is about honesty and its limits. Lenny's whole scheme depended on managing what Kevin knew, so the discovery feels like betrayal rather than bad luck. Lenny's defense — that she has changed, and that Kevin shouldn't hold her past against her — is reasonable, yet he gives it weakly, and Kevin leaves with a bitter 'Thanks for nothin'.' The second half deepens it: Linda shows up bruised, and in the middle of her pain she asks about Lenny, who has just been told his own wife left him. The comedy has curdled into something sadder, and both of them are quietly stranded.

Informal
“You didn't tell me how many times though!”
The complaint is not the job. It is the body count, and that though makes the outrage sound almost reasonable.
Informal
“I told you from day one the girl was not a virgin.”
From day one stresses the earlier warning, so the excuse doubles as a defense.
Informal
“Remember you once said we were a couple of losers?”
A shared memory pairs the two of them as losers, and the resignation carries a strange warmth.
Informal
“Kevin, I told you she had dramatic aspirations.”
Dressing up a past in artistic vocabulary is the funniest and most evasive spin possible.
Informal
At a party, a friend plays a sexy video and Kevin recognizes Linda in it. He then goes to confront her about everything she had hidden.
Lenny set them up but never warned him about Linda's career, so Kevin feels tricked rather than helped, and he blames Lenny for the humiliation.
He believes she has changed and wants to start over, so he argues that Kevin should judge her by who she is now, not by her past.
It means to judge or punish someone for what they did before. Lenny asks Kevin not to do that, since she is trying to build a new life.
Linda appears bruised from the confrontation, and Lenny takes care of her. In the same conversation, he reveals that his wife Amanda has left him.
