Capítulo 13 de 19 · 3'32"
Tyler screens recruits like lab animals, tells them they are not special, and starts building an army. He tells the room, "You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake," and that they are all the same decaying matter. The scene cuts between the cult forming and the news reporting the damage they leave behind.

The First Rule of Project Mayhem
Tyler inspects a line of would-be members, rejecting one man as too old and another as too blond. He tells the ones who remain that they are not special, not unique snowflakes, but the same decaying organic matter as everyone else. He is building an army, and the film cuts to news footage of a fire the group has caused.
Project Mayhem needs people who will stop thinking, so Tyler's first task is to delete the idea that they matter. "You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake," he says, and then, "You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else." The comfort of being special is replaced by the comfort of being nothing, which makes obedience easier. The recruits answer in military language: "Sir, the first rule of Project Mayhem is you do not ask questions, sir." The film then makes the cost visible through television coverage, where a commissioner promises a rigorous investigation while the members celebrate in another room. The army is built out of the very people consumer culture called unique.

Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else. Tyler built himself an army. We are the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. We are all part of the same compost heap.

It is Tyler's organized movement, grown out of Fight Club. Members live by strict rules, carry out vandalism and attacks, and are expected to obey without asking questions.
For them the destruction is proof the plan is working. The news calls it vandalism and promises an investigation, while the group treats the same event as a victory.
It is Tyler's name for a member who gives up his own life for the mission, like the monkeys sent into space as test subjects. It turns self-sacrifice into a job title.
Bob is the support-group friend later killed during a Project Mayhem operation. His name appearing here, next to the news coverage, marks how the movement eventually destroys its own members.
